WPPI 2011

Hey Everyone,
The Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) is once again offering free basic programming and trade show passes to photo educators and students.

Start off here:
http://www.wppionline.com/storage/2011/home.html

Answer the questions and continue to the end where you fill out your contact information.
You will get an email in which they will ask you to verify you are a teacher or stdudent. This is easy, simply email them a copy of your school ID or pay stub for where you work. For students, again, school ID, tuition bills, letter from registrar's office or letter of acceptance from the school you will be attending.

I'm thinking high schoolers should be ok with their school ID. It does not specifically say what level of student can attend. Simply put on a scanner and create the file, then email to the address they'll give you in their email confirming your registration request. Once they receive your email, within 48 hours, you should receive confirmation you are registered.

WPPI is great because of the variety of classes they offer. Photoshop, Lighting, Retouching, Video, Marketing, Workflow, etc. etc. As each year passes, they offer more and more general commercial photography classes and it's also reflected at the vendor booths at the trade show.

Hope you can attend the conference.
Mark
